The Shadowmushroom Woods are a forest in the republic of Orlene, South-West of the city of Owlchester. There are inhabited by various creatures, most notably by Werebears. Rumours have it that the werebears protect a portal in the heart of the forest.
Slave children are repeatedly told that if they don't behave, they will be sent to the forest.
