Vengli was a lesser-deity of life and death worshipped by the people of the island of Kemali before the more modern gods were introduced a thousand years ago.
Her domains were life and death, and most rituals related to those included her in some way.
When Vengli was angry, she would shake the island in her rage, causing villages to be engulfed by rocks, or cause massive storms that would flood the plains and livestock. To appease her anger, people who were deamed to have "cheated" life or death would be sacrificed in her temple of Vengli-Mebed located on Kicik-Ag.
