(Over the course of a month)
We met up at the underground ruins. Aggma managed to reset Vékell's security. We got some information from him, that this was a settlement of the Children of Dae and that it's been abandoned for thousands of years. He begged to be killed, which Sett complied with. I tried to touch the Larysine to see if they were now rendered inert. They were not.
I felt weakened after touching them. Enervated. However I did see a vision of the Dae. They appeared to me as children no older than 10. Human looking children. They were evacuating this settlement but not in any sort of rush, very casual. Some were dressed up as guards and the like. Acting like adults. Was that just how their bodies were? A race that looked permanently like children, or were they humans that could no longer age? Hm.
The Hunting Lodge is now without a leader. Oris Honeyflower and I stepped in to teach them more ethical ways of doing things that don't destroy the natural ecosystem and isn't unnecessarily cruel to either the animals or the people (as Harris Yorehil often used humans as live bait).

We're being asked by Martha Thinstrung to investigate more into the Dae. Sending us towards Whitlington Bridge. Great. Amazing.
We're headed to Adestry, to the Silky Cup. We ask for the Passer who will sneak us into Thasslia. We're also to meet with Alexandra Kingsley at the Tower of Daynight to get her help as a archeologist-mage. Archeolomagi? Honestly my mind was mostly swimming on going home. It's been damn near eight years since I was anywhere near Whitlington Bridge. I hoped to make it another 80 before I even go within a crow's flight distance. Shit. Especially in the middle of a godsdamned civil war.
I asked Naomi Copinger if - and I knew it was unlikely - there was something like a standing warrant for me or anything. She said she did dig some up about my past and how I'm a deserter, but chances are people just think I'm dead. Maybe I can fib my way out of it. I did leave after a pretty significant battle. So. We'll see.

Oris tracked down his brother. Flint Huxley, is his name. He's been here apparently for 22 years already and now works at a theatre - The Pyramid. I guess its fine to be sidetracked. Family's important, I suppose. But every day we delay the more anxious I feel about it. Apparently Flint is the fiancé of Qeral Arkelow, the duke's daughter. Oh boy.
We get to the tavern and we ask for the Passer. I don't have time for subtlety so I ask outright and Oris takes chagrin with that. Eventually our contact shows up, an old friend of Sett: Caessa. This is beginning to set me on edge. The past of Oris and Sett are coming back to haunt them, so I imagine it'll be my turn soon. And in a bad way, given we're heading back home.
