Backstory

Early Years

Tell me where you see this character as a child? What does their home look like?
My biological father died ten years ago, but my mother Queen Whiskers re-married a human. My step-father Jabib owns a carpet weaving mill with a few employees, and my mother and I helped out. We weren't poor and my parents could afford me an education. We still had to work hard at the shop even if my step-father could afford workers. I have the fur colour of my father, and my mother has light sandy fur. 
I always admired rich people and tried to get closer to them by pulling tricks and lying.

My father Ivan Whiskers had blue russian fur.

Who else is in the home? Any animals or pets?
Lone child, no pets.

And the area. Where is your home? Is it a village? A farm? A city? Something else?
A small town inland on the island of Kemali. We would travel once a month to Port Giza to sell our carpets and buy new materials.

What does your family do to make money?
Weave carpets.

How religious are you and your family?
Not very religious, but we pray to Desìm.

Tell me about a rumour you heard about the surrounding area.
I am the one spreading rumours. There are rumours.

My real father worked for someone powerful, and he made a mistake/stole something which is why we had to move a lot when I was young.

Tell me what you believe about yourself/what you think is your greatest attribute?
There is always a way out of a bad situation, you just need to use your head to make it work. I would never harm someone undeserving.

I don't have so many friends because I always have to help out at the weaving mill.

Kyrion is my friend / rival.

I know a few thieves/thugs who influenced me. I saw them attain their goals quicker. One of them is Soheil.

Mando Kassis, a merchant aged 35 who I would always meet in Port Giza when possible. He owns the store The golden peacock and sells information. I have a crush on him, but he's a friend.

Kyrion - I was always jealous of his life and luxury, and whenever he shows decency and concern I feel pitied.

What do you do for fun? What are your hobbies and pastimes?
I enjoy hunting, but I don't admit it.

What kind of work are you required to do? Do you have an apprenticeship? Or education?
I work at my step-father's weaving mill.

Tell me about your teachers/mentors/masters. How was your relationship with them?
Mando Kassis, saw my potential in forgerying documents and taught me how to get easy money. I started working for him and forge wine documents. He always takes good care of me and praises me. I have a crush on him.

 

What are you interested in outside of your work or studies? What are your passions?
Diamonds are a girl's best friend.

To become so rich I don't have to do anything. I also want to save my village.

Cunning Action - Bonus Action

Starting at 2nd level, your quick thinking and agility allow you to move and act quickly. You can take a bonus action on each of your turns in combat. This action can be used only to take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action.

Sneak Attack - Ranged Attack

Beginning at 1st level, you know how to strike subtly and exploit a foe’s distraction. Once per turn, you can deal an extra 1d6 damage to one creature you hit with an attack if you have advantage on the attack roll. The attack must use a finesse or a ranged weapon.

You don’t need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it, that enemy isn’t incapacitated, and you don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll.

Thieves' Cant - Social

During your rogue training you learned thieves’ cant, a secret mix of dialect, jargon, and code that allows you to hide messages in seemingly normal conversation. Only another creature that knows thieves’ cant understands such messages. It takes four times longer to convey such a message than it does to speak the same idea plainly.

In addition, you understand a set of secret signs and symbols used to convey short, simple messages, such as whether an area is dangerous or the territory of a thieves’ guild, whether loot is nearby, or whether the people in an area are easy marks or will provide a safe house for thieves on the run.

Feline Agility - Combat

Your reflexes and agility allow you to move with a burst of speed. When you move on your turn in combat, you can double your speed until the end of the turn. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you move 0 feet on one of your turns.

Cat’s Claws - Action

Because of your claws, you have a climbing speed of 20 feet. In addition, your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

Darkvision - Special

You have a cat’s keen senses, especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
