Once a thriving place of dreams and spirit, Phronemia itself was killed alongside its inhabitants in a sudden event that is still unexplained. The remaining Phronemians are those who had already left the planet.
The expeditions sent after the apocalypse of Phronemia each never returned, and so investigations have ceased until something changes. There seems no reason to keep sending resources that never return.
