Nerovaz, a silver dragon, was born over two hundred years ago, making him an adult by dragon standards. He grew up in the Grandfields, spending much of his time watching over the fields and forests that surrounded it. As he grew older, he became more interested in the world beyond his home and began to explore the neighboring lands. Nerovaz quickly became enamored with the humanoids he encountered, fascinated by their diverse cultures and the way they lived their lives. He began to spend more and more time in his humanoid form, taking on various guises to blend in with the local populations. He even developed a love for feline humanoid forms, finding them to be the most comfortable and natural for him.
As he wandered the land, Nerovaz developed a reputation as a wandering wizard, using his vast knowledge and magic to help those in need. He was particularly drawn to Windelcrest, a city that had been at odds with the local dragons and suffered dragon attacks years before. There he took on the role of advisor to Martin Winfield, the Lord of Windelcrest, sharing his wisdom and guidance with the city's ruler. Over time, Nerovaz became a trusted member of the Windelcrest community. He helped the city grow and prosper, and his advice was sought after by many. When a group of nobles sought a truce between Windelcrest's inhabitants and the dragons of the Grandfields, Nerovaz was among the first to support it.
His support and his position as advisor to the Lord of Windelcrest earned him the title of High Lord, a respected and revered position within the city's walls. He continued to serve in this role, spending much of his time in his humanoid form, watching over the people and helping them to prosper. Despite his many years among mortals, Nerovaz never forgot his true nature as a dragon. He remained vigilant, always watching for threats to his home and his people. And though he had a kind heart, he knew that sometimes the only way to protect those he cared for was to use his great power to defend them.
