The Crimson Court was a renowned and diverse group of heroes from across the lands of Midora. Operating beyond the jurisdiction of any authority, they often found themselves at odds with powerful figures. Despite making numerous enemies, they left a legacy of heroic deeds and epic legends during their active years. Though initially formed in the Vache Kingdom, the Court never claimed a permanent base, choosing instead to roam the world.
The core members of the Crimson Court were former adventurers, each bringing unique skills to the group. Alad Jarvan served as their chief investigator, while Isihba Nagami from the Nagan Empire specialized in demonology. Issac and Rivia Irons, a versatile and street-smart couple from the Vache Kingdom, were the group’s jacks of all trades. Valanna Mera from Rivermond was the Arcanist, adept in ancient languages and arcane mechanics. Yoshinaga Ogari, also from the Nagan Empire, provided his expertise as a wizard. The group's airship, the Paragon Javelin, was piloted by the dwarf Willard Ivorton, who also served as the order's captain.
The Crimson Court's primary mission was to safeguard Midora, often delving into dangerous investigations involving demonic incursions, cult activities, unnatural plagues, and various war efforts. They operated with a moral flexibility, sometimes assisting multiple sides in a conflict to ensure the best outcome for all parties involved. Their methods, however, often left those they aided feeling uneasy and paranoid, wary of the Court's unpredictable nature.
In the year 912 of the Fourth Age, the Crimson Court embarked on a critical mission to thwart a cult’s plot to resurrect the infernal god Malagore. During this mission, they crossed paths with another group of adventurers pursuing the same cult. While some members of the Court were open to cooperation, others preferred to keep their distance. This indecision proved costly when the cult ambushed them over the jungles of Lunora. The resulting conflict led to the catastrophic crash of the Paragon Javelin, tragically ending the Crimson Court's journey with the loss of all aboard.
