Fjordfort

Stronghold

Fjordfort is a small stronghold that sits on a high cliff overlooking the coast of Vikholm to the north. Originally built by the Kalamar people, it was taken over by the forces of Vikholm after a long and bloody siege. Since then, the fort has been repurposed as a watchfort and a strategic point for the Vikholm military. Despite its relatively small size, Fjordfort is one of the most important strongholds in the region, as it is one of the few defenses against the northern invaders.

The fort is made of thick stone walls and has a small garrison of soldiers stationed inside. Its strategic location makes it an ideal place to spot incoming ships and warn the nearby towns of any potential danger. The soldiers here are well-trained and fiercely loyal to Vikholm, and they are always on high alert for any signs of trouble.

Fjordfort has a long and storied history, dating back to the days of the Kalamar Empire. It was once a thriving trading post, but after the Kalamar were defeated by the Vikholm forces, it fell into disrepair. It wasn't until many years later that Vikholm began to see the strategic value of the fort and decided to restore it to its former glory.

Despite being a military stronghold, Fjordfort is also a popular destination for travelers and adventurers. Its location on the cliff and the stunning views of the coastline make it a popular spot for sightseers, and the nearby river is a great place to fish for trout and salmon. The fort also has a small tavern where travelers can rest and get a warm meal and a cold ale.
