The Shock Grenade is a powerful device designed to emit a burst of supernatural energy upon detonation. It consists of a sturdy container filled with the essence of a banshee or wraith, capturing their otherworldly power within.

As an action, a character can throw the Shock Grenade at a target point within a range of up to 60 feet. Upon impact, the container releases a violent explosion of spectral energy, affecting all creatures within a 20-foot radius. Each creature within the radius must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the targets are overwhelmed by the intense energy and are both blinded and deafened for a duration of 10 minutes. These conditions render the affected creatures unable to see or hear, significantly hampering their perception and combat abilities.

At the end of each affected creature's turn, they can make a Constitution saving throw to shake off the effects of the shock. On a successful save, the blinding and deafening conditions end, restoring their senses to normal. The blindness and deafness caused by the Shock Grenade last for a fixed duration of 10 minutes. However, individual creatures may be able to overcome the effects sooner through successful saving throws.

The creation or acquisition of Shock Grenades is typically reserved for individuals with knowledge of capturing and harnessing the spectral essence of banshees or wraiths. These specialized grenades may be obtained through interaction with magical researchers, ghost hunters, or black market dealers specializing in supernatural artifacts.
