Any creature with a Constitution score of 10 or lower must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw after drinking the potion. On a failed save, they suffer 1d6 poison damage as their body reacts negatively to the potent mixture. Creatures with a Constitution score of 11 or higher are unaffected by this side effect.

The bottle containing the Alert Potion is a magical item and regains its contents after a long rest. When fully replenished, it can be used twice before becoming empty. The magical properties of the bottle ensure that the potion's effects remain potent even after the bottle is emptied and refilled.
