Mox Matashi

Mox Matashi was born in the villiage of Yoshiha. He was born into a family of brewers who were well-known for their ale in the surrounding areas. From a young age, Mox showed an interest in brewing and would often help his family in the brewery. However, Mox had always been fascinated by the tales of the outside world that travelers would bring to his village. He would often spend hours listening to these stories and dreaming of adventures of his own. As he grew older, he decided to leave Yoshiha and seek out his own adventures.

Mox eventually found himself in Kuju, where he fell in love with the village's rugged charm and the challenging nature of the mining work. He decided to open up his own tavern, which he named the Waterhole, in honor of the many miners who would come in after a long day's work to quench their thirst. Mox's signature ale quickly became a hit in the village, as it was made with water from a nearby mountain spring, giving it a unique and refreshing taste. He also began to brew a variety of other beers and spirits, each with its own distinct flavor and character.

Aside from his brewing skills, Mox was also known for his friendly and welcoming nature. He was always eager to strike up a conversation and would often regale his patrons with tales of his own adventures or the many stories he had heard from travelers passing through Kuju. Despite his love for his new home, Mox still felt a longing for adventure and would often close the Waterhole early to head out into the wilderness in search of new experiences. He had traveled far and wide, often bringing back exotic ingredients and new brewing techniques that he would incorporate into his beers and spirits.
