you get through the book the stranger it gets even for an experienced
Smith or Artificer. It shows various mythical elements and materials few
are aware of. Its guidelines are odd but easy to follow, as you find
old notes and lists of strange items. You learn the basics of gunpowder
and the workings of the Vache firearms.
After spending 48 hours reading through the notebook you gain the Feat of Forgemaster.
