The War Room serves as the strategic heart of your Bastion, a space where military plans are devised in collaboration with an elite group of loyal Lieutenants. These battle-hardened Veterans stand ready to assist you in your military endeavors. Initially, you start with two Lieutenants, but you can expand your ranks as needed.

Equipped with war memorabilia and a large planning table, the War Room is where you lay the groundwork for your military actions, ensuring you are prepared for any conflict that arises.

Benefits:

  • Recruit Order:
    When you issue the Recruit order to this facility, choose one of the following options:

    1. Recruit: Lieutenants

    • You gain one new Lieutenant.
    • You can have up to ten Lieutenants at any time. Assign names and personalities to them as desired.

    2. Recruit: Soldiers

    • You can commission one or more of your Lieutenants to muster a small army.
    • Each Lieutenant can recruit one hundred Guards (see the Monster Manual) in 7 days.
    • If you prefer mounted soldiers, this number is reduced to twenty Guards on Riding Horses (see the Monster Manual).
    • It costs 1 GP per day to feed each Guard and Horse in your army.
    • The army must be led by you or at least one of your Lieutenants; otherwise, it disbands immediately.
    • The army also disbands if it goes 1 day without being fed.
    • Otherwise, the army remains until it is destroyed or you command it to disband.
    • You cannot issue this Recruit order again until your current army disbands or is destroyed.
