Moonbloom is a luminous plant native to the shaded glades and rocky outcroppings of the Nagan Empire. Its soft bioluminescence is believed to be imbued with the magic of the moon Drekk, said to enhance clarity and insight. The Stegosolis, a native creature, actively seeks out Moonbloom during its mating season.
When consumed in large quantities, Moonbloom causes the consumer's blood to emit a faint, temporary glow. However, its practical uses are more widely valued. Adventurers and tribal communities have discovered that when crushed and applied to the eyes as a salve, it grants temporary darkvision. Additionally, when brewed into a potion, Moonbloom produces a Potion of Lunar Guidance, which enhances both wisdom and intelligence for a limited time.
Properties:
- When crushed and applied to the eyes as a salve (action to apply), the user gains darkvision out to 60 feet or an additional 30 feet if they already have darkvision, for 8 hours.
- When brewed into a potion, Moonbloom creates a Potion of Lunar Guidance, granting advantage on Wisdom (Insight) and Intelligence (Arcana) checks for 1 hour.
