Villagers wear conservative cotton and linen garments wrapped around their bodies or loosely draped robes and tunics with sheer shawls or cloaks worn over. Little to no hair hear is common, but longer hair and elaborate hairstyles are not uncommon. Jade and bronze jewelry are the most common, but it is not unheard of for other gems and materials to be in use. Materials for jewelry were received in a trade with the Elder’s representatives and historically were almost exclusively symbolic of their profession, or the gnarled tree to represent the Elders. It is frowned upon to dress in any way to imply a higher station or being above others.
