The Abyssal Arcs

“The only way to escape the abyss is to look at it, gauge it, sound it out and descend into it.”

— Cesare Pavese

Beneath the liminal planes of Annwn stretch the Abyssal Arcs, the literal polar opposite to the The Celestial Arcs which span above. Here, the domains of Otherworld look "up" into an empty, starless Unknown. Beyond that, the mutable Unformed Lands where what remains of past worlds churns endlessly upon itself and the elemental gods rule.

Then, there is the Beneath. A place of darkness pressed between the Unformed Lands and the Outer Night. Many claim that it is where the devils truly reside when they escape the mortal realms of Trynnalta. Choosing to hide away in the darkness of the Beneath, their evil and corrupting influence bubbling up into the Unformed Lands as the Fellands.

The Abyssal Arcs truly are the precipice before all of creation which, when fallen away, leads to the first void.
