RULE #1 - It’s our game. Have fun and work as a team. This is no one person’s game - not one player’s and not the DM’s. What that means is your characters need to be likeable.
As a player, your first role-playing obligation is to imagine a character who can cooperate with the rest of the party to achieve the common goals of the game. Some players will envision some psychotic wacko or sociopathic thief as their character. That’s a big “nope”. There’s nothing wrong with characters having rough edges or prickly elements in their natures - even good characters. But roleplaying is a shared experience; the other players have to like your character. This usually means that each character cares about other people, in other words they are “good at heart.” They don’t have to care about everyone, but they at least need to be trusted by others on the team. Have fun.
Don't stack your dice. They fall … they roll off the table ... we stop everything and stall the game while you look for them …. Don't stack your dice.
Initiative order is ...
Highest roller goes first then we move clockwise around the table. All monsters and NPCs go during DM’s “turn”
Used in and, if necessary, OUT of combat - i.e. player 1, where are you standing? Player 2, where are you standing? Etc…
Pay attention and be ready when it's your turn. If you're not ready we skip you and come back. If you're not ready the second time you skip your turn. On your turn you …

Don't. Stack. the Dice.
Role "To hit" dice and ALL "Damage" dice together. This saves time and keeps things moving forward. If you need extra dice, ask.
Any die that lands on the floor is an automatic 1
Role-play
Role-play does NOT necessarily mean
Talking like a Ren Fest freak with a bad English accent
Always having to speak in character
Role-play means keeping in mind your character’s personality, ideal, bond and flaw.
Do what your character would do
Say what your character would say
There are no alignments. What? Why?!?! Because players rarely know how to use them. They either see themselves as “good” and so they act super-goody-goody (i.e. annoying) “neutral” to the point of not caring about anything (i.e. annoying) or “evil” and believe they should pillage and destroy everything in their path and thereby hijacking the game (i.e. super annoying). We are the “good guys”. We are on the same team. We are on the same quest trying to attain the same ends. So, no alignments.
We don't do the “gods” thing. So here’s the straight truth: we run in Christian circles and this bothers some people so we toss it. It doesn't really affect game play anyhow. If they do come into play we see them more as "celestials" like in Marvel movies.
As players, support one another & no negative talk.
No instruments.
NO STACKING DICE!!
The final decision is the DMs. The books are guidelines, not dogma. If you want to discuss a decision after the session we will do it then.
Have fun!!!
