Dense forest possessing a sense of magic in its soil and vegetation. The region touches on many of the monumental events of the realms.
Called Lleweyrrwood by the ancient elves of Illefarn. The northwestern stretch has been known as The Watcher's Forest and is sacred to the priests of Helm of Helms Hold. Deep within the woods, eladrin from the Feywild (and fanatical Eldreth Veluuthra) are building a new Sharandar settlement. Savage barbarian-werewolves of the Grey Wolf tribe lived on the edge of the wood and the Starmetal Hills in Vellosk. There are stories of a cursed location of interest to the Red Wizards, and perhaps even one of the cities of The Netheril that crashed with the death of Mystryl.
