Human fighter proficient with enhancing his combat skills with mind-powers.

Ujio Hiroyuki is a human Psi Warrior, once an Astral Warrior who had helped defend the Wave Echo Caves in the orc and mage attack. For five centuries he was trapped (preserved) within a sword until released by and joining Our Party.

He continues to seek out his companion among "The Veterans of the Psychic Wars" - a sorcerer named Askelon. Appearing in his mid-30's, Ujio carries with him a soul whose age is difficult to estimate. His progress in skills and powers seems more practiced remembering than gaining anew.

Personality

Despite his memory loss, Ujio carries the soul of a seasoned veteran, with outer wounds from steel weapons far better healed than the scars left within his mind by mental attacks. In contrast to the eager heroism of the party, he bears a weariness, and wariness, and sometimes PTSD for battle.

(Ideals): Tempering Ujio's loyalty as a soldier and an unshakeable dedication to his comrades-in-arms, is strong reverence for his own life and obligation to survive to fight and defend or avenge another day.

(Bonds): With a profound sense of duty and experience in battle, Ujio remains steadfast in opposing the dark forces that seek to oppress or destroy the people who bring life to each world in its peacetime.

(Flaws):

  • (Bad Habit): Conditioned to follow rather than lead, Ujio has resigned himself at times to accept choices made by others, even in disregard of his hard-earned wisdom and experience. And yet he strives to teach.
  • (Loves): Moments bringing new experiences of wonder and joy serve as precious relief from melancholy.
  • (Fears): Serpents (slithering things not so much snake-headed things)
