Perhaps the most active challenger for the title of Archmage of the Arcane Brotherhood, Jendrick is one of its four Overwizards, inhabiting the South Tower. He is originally from Port Llast, where he claims to be both a blood descendant, and of a line of teacher-apprentices to past prominent leaders of the secretive society of wizards. This leads to continual testing of the rules and limits to advance his prominence in the tower.
As the wizards sought to build the flow of gold through trade in the town of Luskan, Jendrick was assigned to be the envoy to Ship Rethnor, no doubt as a punishment for his ambitions in the tower. He has, instead taken this as an opportunity to exploit the ship's discontent being the 5th ship to act on his behalf in risky endeavors.
