Apruinus is a silver dragon and former headmaster and teacher at the Een Ailor Academy. Following the White Frost coming to Isrådheim in 777 DR, he was locked away in an Orb of Dragonkind by mysterious means. Although he was trapped, he was able to manifest in the academy to protect it as it was considered his lair.
When Emilia woke up in 1778 DR, he helped her finish her education and then later sent her to scout the Shatterlands.
Later, when the party arrived at the Academy, he was released from his entrapment using the Tools of the Dragon Lords. Apruinus is currently recovering his strength following the release.
