Lara is the Granddaughter of the then King Dresden II Vollachia. Her mother was the King’s Daughter, Jezebel Vollachia (maiden name) and her Father was a low born named Roland Knox.
Jezebel met Roland during a state visit to the City of Karlsburg where Roland was a stationed as a City guard. Jezebel had been wondering the city as a civilian during the time they met and instantly became captivated by the young soldier and his vast aspirations.
Following the hard sought blessing of the King, the two were married and later a daughter was born to them named Lara; who soon became the King’s favourite grandchild.
Roland, through hard work and valour shown on the battlefield became a Knight and served as a close confident to the First Prince of Vollachia, Lelouch I Vollachia. He was present during the the battle with the Druchii forces which resulted in a decisive defeat for Vollachia with the sinking of the Sea Lion. It is unknown what became of him thereafter.
