The ever so popular and divisive Silver de la Corca, CEO and inheritor of Corca Incorporated. While flamboyant, colorful and comfortable with who he is, much about him remains private from the public eye.
At 22, Silver was married to a woman named Otto Letta-Laack, a metal
singer better known as Purple Prose. She, along with her band and their
bus, went missing a little over a year after they got married.. Many people assumed
foul play on Silver’s part, even though the police cleared him of all
wrong-doing.
After losing his wife at 23, Silver was outed for going to gay clubs in Nakarta's red light district and that became major celebrity gossip, forcing Silver into the public light. Silver took this sudden attention in stride, using his identity as a queer man to paint himself as childish, flirty and someone who purely got his job through nepotism.
Just before turning 24 Silver's science labs had an accident leading to Silver losing his right hand. Silver publicly pushed this to be a chance for him to push for better prosthetics and augments for the average person. Since the event Corca Inc. has released over four prosthetic lines in the last five years and Silver has modeled in every line since the accident. His silver prosthetic hand is often seen as a symbol of status, but Silver himself has modeled with less obvious prosthetics and even for competing companies because he 'enjoys the competition'.
He also created a charity to donate prosthetics of all kinds to the hospitals within Nakarta, and even helps install prosthetics and does custom fittings on his own time. He has stated that helping people is a passion of his and he hates what the family company did before he took over. He also publicly holds that the government should put more restrictions on what companies can do, especially to citizens.
Silver has also partnered with Decorum Guns, releasing a set of collectors items styled in his usual clean, metallic style reserved for his prosthetics.
Silver, while constantly in the public eye and seems to enjoy acting out, he is incredibly private person and avoids talking about his personal life in any capacity.
At age 24 Silver
started dating Nakartan star and favored actor Reo Yun. They were
incredibly private about their relationship and almost no one knew,
until Silver fired a restraining order suddenly about 18 months later.
Gossip sites went insane and Silver became reclusive and avoided the
public eye entirely. Silver has not commented on the ordeal at all and
refuses to, actively avoiding disparaging Reo. Reo's popularity tanked
after the restraining order happened and Reo left Nakarta and the
acting scene entirely.
His company, Corca Inc., has its main
offices in Nakarta. The building, Corca Tower, is known to house not
just offices and engineering labs, but apartments for its employees and
countless amenities like cafeterias. The apartments are free for all
employees and direct relatives of said employees, and Silver even has an
apartment in the building to show that he doesn’t need to live an
extravagant lifestyle. His secretaries are supposedly paid more than
himself yearly.
