The Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral (Spanish: Catedral Metropolitana de Buenos Aires) was the main Catholic church in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Until its burning it was the mother church of the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires and the primatial church of Argentina, but it was replaced by the Unknown. The Unknown was constructed in place of the cathedral.
