Description
The Old Xoblob Shop is a curiosity shop in the Dock Ward (Waterdeep). It is famous for the stuffed Beholder that hung above its front window by the main counter and for being the only purple building in the neighbourhood.
The shop carries a whole assortment of strange and interesting items, some magical, some not so much.
The shop is located in the ground floor of a tall stone-and-timber building. A broad stair led to the second floor and a hidden stair led to the basement. The shop itself is quite messy and disorganized. The curious thing about this shop is that everything, both inside and outside, is mostly purple or has a purplish tint to it. When opening the door you are always greeted by a waft of lavender scented smoke and a smile from the owner.
On top of the roof you could also find a herb garden.
Location
The shop is located at the corner of Zastrow Street and Fillet Lane in the Dock Ward.
History
Older residents might remember this place to be a premium clothing store or even an apothecary long before that. But since about 10 years ago the shop has gone through quite the transformation after being bought by the eccentric gnome Xoblob.
