Hyustus Staget (pronounced: HEW-stus STAG-it) is a captain of the City Watch (Waterdeep) who kept the peace in the Dock Ward (Waterdeep). He is known and even appreciated by every shopkeeper, guild member, innkeeper, and tavern keeper in the Dock Ward.
History
Captain Staget was investigating a gang war between the The Black Network and the Xanathar's Guild. Staget was leading an operation to capture a high ranking Black Network operative when he and his men were called to an abandoned warehouse that turned out to be a secret Black Network hideout. There he discovered "The Party" and Renaer Neverember.
A few days later he ran into the Party again after they had captured the serial murderer who was targeting Elves and Half-Elves in the Dock Ward. He took the killer with him for further interrogation. He later visited the Parties' new establishment Trollskull Manor, where he thanked and befriended the Party for their work protecting the city this past week over a few drinks. After this, Captain Staget would show up at the tavern for a drink every now and then.
The Party went to see Captain Staget after Cracuta had discovered a person ,seeming to be of his race, behind bars in Amendsfarm. They asked if it was possible to get a meeting with this person, and Captain Staget told the party he would try his best to get this meeting scheduled.
