The owlBear’s Feast Song
(to a lively, adventurous tune)
In the morning sun, the owlbear awakes,
From the east, a move it makes.
step outside his cave, sniff the breeze,
Time for fish by the river, please!
Go west, go west, all the way!
The ribbits splash and the dracotters play.
The owlbear moves fast, it’s on the trail,
This hungry owlbear will never fail!
crawl through two bushes, it’s getting near,
jump out to the left, no time to fear.
Another left, the path looks clear,
The feast is close, oh it’s right here!
Two careful strides, through the forest deep,
Veer to the right, the rocks are steep.
The river glimmers in the light,
The feast is waiting—it’s in sight!
Two more up, it’s almost done,
One step right, under the sun.
One last move, the end’s in view,
The feast is here—the owlbear breaks through!
Fish are leaping, the owlbear is pleased,
This hunt has led to a perfect feast!
With a happy growl and a mighty bite,
The owlbear enjoys its meal tonight!
Thanks to the path, this owlbear found fish,
A morning hunt fulfilled its wish.
Now full and happy, it takes its ease,
Dreaming again of a forest breeze.
