The Icebill Pufflins are the tricksters of the east, known for their big personalities and even bigger hearts. With feathers that lean toward slate-blue and silver-gray bellies, they shuffle through life with an infectious enthusiasm. Their stone-forged swords are usually blunt from play-combat and ice carving, but they wield them with proud ceremony nonetheless.
These Pufflins live in burrow-villages carved into frozen cliffs or snowy hillocks by the sea. Their homes are dotted with colorful fish-bone windchimes, sun-bleached feathers, and totems depicting legendary Icebill heroes (often exaggerated for comedic effect). Their society is highly communal, with storytelling and comedy held in as much esteem as combat prowess.
Despite their silly nature, Icebills are clever engineers of mischief. Their ambush traps often involve fish bait, hidden ice pits, or comically oversized snowballs. Their warriors are nimble and bold, dancing through battle with a chaotic grace, often accompanied by chanting or slapstick performance.
