The Heron is a tavern and inn in Westide, between Lancetide and Brightsage. It's a large wattle and daub building with dark wooden beams, partially obscured by ivy. A dilapidated stable sits beside the inn, large enough to house carriages, and well-worn ruts weave around the buildings. The Heron sits alongside The Sage, with a small beer garden opening onto the river, wooden posts shore up the bank and provide mooring points.
Inside, the tavern is a large open area with a central fire pit, smoke funnels into a chimney suspended above. A mezzanine circles the room on the floor above, with corridors leading off to bedrooms.
