Lancetide Merchant District is filled with bustling markets, countless taverns, guild halls, and shops. The district is one of the most well known in Lancetide, many visitors never venture beyond its walls. Throughout the day trade caravans plod down the busy main streets moving goods to and from Westide.
The canals of the Merchant District are better policed than those of the Wharf District – a licence is needed to operate taxis or ferry goods along these waterways. Because of this, only the richest merchants can afford to import their wares this way.
The larger houses of this district are lived in by wealthier merchants and guild artisans. The less fortunate make their homes in the many guest houses or dormitories.
