The Formationists were a church which formed in the early days of Konungdómr. They grew rapidly due to their practice of absorbing the deities and festivals of other smaller religious groups. It was easy for Formationist missionaries to convert a local population as the young religion adapted to suit them.
The result was The Formationist Pantheon, a list of deities which take influence from the cultures and religions of many different peoples. The Formationists also created The Dark Formationist Pantheon, which was designed to warn people against a life of sin.
The Formationists were also responsible for standardising The Formationist Calendar which is used across Tide.
The Formationist movement slowly faded, and religious freedom is now celebrated across most of Tide. They were replaced in part by a younger and more liberal organisation – The Church of the Pantheon.
