The Plane of Fire is an Inner Plane which sits between The Prime Material Plane and The Astral Plane. It is mostly inhabited by fire elementals and creatures with the ability to withstand great heat.
The Plane of Fire is dominated by a blazing sun which hangs permanently in the sky. The sun waxes and wanes over a 24-hour cycle, ranging from blistering and blinding heat in the middle of the day to a warm evening glow and a red sky. The landscape alternates between vast deserts and volcanic mountain ranges.
Travel
Travel to The Plane of Fire is achieved through various spells, or via The Ethereal Plane. Crossings into The Plane of Fire can occur rarely in The Material Plane, and only in places where fire is the dominant element such as in the crater of an active volcano.
