Vatan is a huge continent, east of The Great Rift. All of dragonkind originates from this land, and it is also known as Drageheim. Travel between Vatan and the rest of The Known World is extremely difficult and fraught with danger, the only easily-reachable landmass being the islands of Arauglbrok.
