Anselm was Surgeon aboard the naval ship Amatheia, which was owned by The Theder National Guard. He is the younger brother of the Captain, Carl Wintner. When the ship was destroyed by The Rising, Anselm was marooned with The Hag Wranglers on Lehen Kartzela.
