Vallaki is the largest town in the nation of Barovia. Led by Burgomaster Vargas Vallakovich, the town's laws are shaped by Vallakovich's philosophy that "all will be well!" The burgomaster believes that, if the people of the town are happy, they will be kept safe from Strahd. To that end, Vallaki holds weekly festivals, at which attendance is mandatory for anyone in the town. All townsfolk must also help organize and run the festivals.
