Time that has passed: Week 2, Day 5 Currently Mid-Morning closer to afternoon
We pick up where we left off at the end of the Vampire Spawn and Strahd’s “visit”.The party talks about next steps. Plan: Get power, kill Strahd. Ember/Cynder flirts with Irena wondering why she is attracting Strahd.
Vikta reminds the party that Kenji was bitten by a vampire and needs to be seen to. Y’all we really aren’t sure why Strahd wants Irena...but he doooo I mean she’s attractive but not sure what outstanding beauty. Possibly for her magic--as it's not fully trained up so that’s probably a factor?
Ismark doesn’t think so.
Yozsu takes a close look that could be taken as sexual harrassment.
Irena realizes that Vikta is looking different. Vikta takes and plays up her different masks aka the different people she appears as.
The party agrees to take Ismark and Irena with them.
Vikta reminds the party again about Kenji being bitten. Vikta gets *very* protective over Kenji. Working to ensure they will not be against Kenji being with us if he turns…
Party actually moves to get supplies for kids first while they are out. They get a good amount of items. The storehouse has food, tents, and other such supplies. The man is a bit freaked out at first thinking we’re enemies but we quickly calm him down.
We get tents and such.
We hear about the legend of primordials and fey being in the woods. Possibly a shrine?
We go to the blacksmiths to get Dunal and Saryn’s things only to find Issac choking the blacksmith. Turns out he gave the baron a faulty sword. The party just really wants their things and finds this mildly amusing, terrible to do, and fucked up in otherways. Each member of the party seems to have disdain and concern that their own gear might be faulty--but its not according to the Blacksmith.
It was just the Baron who he hated and loathed.
The entire party is wondering what new hell the Blacksmith will end up getting into as he’s forced to “make up” things for his work being shoddy.
Isaac when moving to leave meets Irena--he’s the man with the creepy dolls of Irena. He looks super wild and mad. We never get answers. Irena believes she’s cursed--and that her presence curses us all.
The party goes to the Coffin Maker’s to pick up the wagon and supplies--finding a magical hammer that Vikta takes. We reinforce the wagon.
Then we go to the Church to help Kenji and get the kiddos.
The father--wants to kill Kenji because he’s been bitten--the party fucking loses it--Vikta really does.
We start heading out to get going.
Cynder flirts with Irena and Vitka.
Vikta’s patron hates the children--as per usual. The team has a mini chat on that.
Ember warms Vikta up. ;) ;)
Vikta has permission to touch Ember/Cynder to get warm. Lol
Corruption has increased on Vikta’s person.
The Kenji hears his wife calling his name in the forest--Vikta notices and intends to go with him. Eventually falling prey as well. Ember hears voices but never sees anyone. Saryn also falls prey to hearing her mother--just as Vikta hears their mother too.
