The heart of man is very much like the sea, it has its storms, it has its tides, and in its depths it has its pearls too

Captain of the Devil's Hound, a pirate ship based out of the Crow's Rest. He ran away from home when he was 13 and took a job as a cabin boy on the ship Espero. He sailed with that crew for several years before the Espero was attacked by the pirate Ruggiero da Fiore. Silvio was press-ganged by the pirates and forced to serve on their ship, the Falcon

Silvio quickly showed an aptitude for piracy, and quickly climbed the hierarchy on board the Falcon, until he was promoted to First Mate, Ruggiero's right hand man. For a season Ruggiero and Silvo made the Falcon the most feared pirate ship of the seas. They began to attract the attention of the various navys, and of other pirates. Eventually Silvio, ever ambitious, told Ruggiero that he wanted his own ship. Ruggiero did not want to lose such a capable first mate and thus quietly sabotaged Silvio's attempts to strike off on his own.

Within a week, Silvio had obtained the Devil's Hound. Where, and how he had gained possession of this mighty vessel no one knew, but Silvio wasted no time in heading out to make a name for himself. He has been captain for three years now.

Poetry

Your eyes are fire
Their image burnt into my soul
Scarred by your beauty

I have fallen into the sea
Enveloped in its azure embrace
The water takes my breath
And makes me whole
