Father of Kyrius
From time-to-time village leaders and even local nobility would invite the Renowned Remarir and his troop to come to great gatherings and festivals to entertain with his vast array of stories, tales, and stongs. The troop would often perform like a small circus in the public areas, but it was not uncommon for Remarir to enter the palaces and great halls to tell his tales of woe, tragedy, magnificence, and honor. In the performers’ world, Remarir was also known to pay fair prices for a story he had never heard before. This, along with his outstanding memory, might be part of how—no matter where they traveled—Remarir would be able to tell tales that related to that village, valley, or noble family. People were never disappointed in his stories, even if they added a new twist that wasn’t part of the original tale. Even as a toddler, Ky nodded vigorously whenever someone would say that Remarir’s stories were worthy of being told to the emperor himself. Everyone knew that Remarir was probably the best tale spinner in the empire.
