Bowmore Distillery

The distillery sits on the rise of a small hill, surrounded in a sea of grain and small copses of trees. There is a moss covered stone wall, about six feet high that surrounds the grounds. There are two entrances, north and south, and next to the gates are small guard towers (boxes on stilts more like). The inside of the grounds is well maintained, with a crushed rock roadway and paths between the buildings helping to keep the mud contained. As you enter the main gate (the north gate), there is a three-story building that serves as the employee quarters. Down the road a bit further and to the right is the large barn which serves as the hub of the grain collection storage, and across from that is the distillery itself. About as large as all the other buildings combined, it has 3 large chimneys. This building is covered in white plaster, giving it a gleaming appearance. Finally, there is the Bowmore residence which sits beyond the other buildings towards the southern gate.
