The dragonkin are a beaten, punished species. Few can remember the times before the chromatic dragons grabbed hold of Vrunthull, enslaved nearly all dragonborn in existence, and begun endless wars that continue to this day. Each dragonkin is colored metallic or chromatic like a dragon, but the breath of a dragon can change a dragonkin’s color. Assuming the dragonkin survives, of course.
