Fabian Seacaster is a swashbuckling son of a famous pirate making his way into the world, to test his rapier against those who stand in his way. He is very prime and proper, raised in wealth and luxury. He seeks to make his father proud by traveling around the world, living the free life of a pirate, but also seeing this life suits him, and if he goes a different way.

Someone has had a bad experience with the Fatebound in the past, and won’t trust you.
Your Fatebound Ring malfunctions, teleporting you somewhere undesirable.
Athletics Complication - Skill Complication
You pull a muscle! Until you regain Stamina, you have disadvantage on rolls using that muscle and can't use Athletics powers that rely on that muscle.
Determination Complication - Skill Complication
You falter, and the forces against you seem overwhelming. You lose your benefits against Threats until you overcome a Threat.
Dueling Complication - Skill Complication
You momentarily stumble or trip, and an enemy gets a hold of you or you fall to the ground.
Another character can choose to affect your emotions for a few moments.
Endurance Complication - Skill Complication
You refuse to show weakness, no matter what. You can’t regain Health from any source, except an Endurance power or a Healing Surge, until your next Healing Surge after this roll.
Navigation Complication - Skill Complication
You've become lost! You won't make any progress towards your destination until another character succeeds on a roll without your help to help figure out where you actually are.
Tactician Complication - Skill Complication
You’ve been outmaneuvered! A new enemy appears.
