A village in the lush mountains of northwestern Ushal, Torrense has been in control of the Batista family of elves since its founding. Rows and rows of wooden buildings line the mountainside, connected by elevated walkways, overlook the miles of tree-covered mountains beyond. Centuries ago, during the conquest of the Volic Dynasty, a native of this town known as Leonard Muzyka betrayed plans of the Volic Army to enter Sharynnuur. As a result, many elven lives were lost and Sharynnuur has remained independent to this day. Elves have long lives and longer memories, so all elven families left Torrense except its leaders, who remained faithful to these lands and the people who stayed behind. To this day, no other elf has come to live here.
