Metal Plated Leather Armors are light armors.
Metal Plated Leather Armor was made from leather and steel plates. The armor pieces covering the shoulders and chest were plated in metal as to provide better protection from blades. The rest of the armor was softer and more flexible. It provided good protection for anyone not trained in combat, therefore it is also common for new military recruits.
