Sister Garaele is an elf cleric who lives in Phandalin. She is a worshiper of Tymora, and she spends much time caring for the Shrine of Luck. However, she also has a strong desire to travel and do good for the people of Phandalin, and is known to leave town on adventures. She is well-liked by the townspeople of Phandalin, and she is the primary source of medicine and healing in the town. Garaele is a member of a yet unnamed organization, and she has been directed by her superiors to retrieve Bowgentle's spellbook from a hag named Agatha.
She was injured during her confrontation with Agatha and apparently infected with some sort of necromantic magic. She plans to travel to Neverwinter to have a more trained healer take care of it.
