Ulrich was a capable and wise admiral in the Bastilian Royal navy, having recaptured the crown jewel of the Bastilian navy in an exchange with the party for their passage to Blackrock Island. Admiral Ulrich has many noted victories over the Black Flag and was eventually credited for their complete dissolvement after his death.
