Geoffrey was a young boy born into a well-to-do family of merchants, in Linhaven, who was curious of the arcane arts and would often have night visions of the world ending through divination into the coming continuum crisis. After Prince Ceallilye noticed these gifts, Geoffrey was in by an order of Sages known as the Order of Ceallilye who honed these divination powers and eventually guided him to aide the parties plight to come in the Underdark searching the continuum crystal shard lost deep within the earth. Helping the party in their quest to find the rampant illithid elder brain, he was taught by the outcast Illithid Squidhead in the dark arts of the Underdark. After acquiring a mase of arcane knowledge and power, Geoffrey obtained the required components to ascend to lichdom and achieve greater power.
