Serving involuntarily under the cruel apprenticeship of Tech-Priest Virion, Leonardos mechanical and tinkering skills were put to use creating abominations of flesh and metal. Eventually being rescued and saved by the party attempting to infiltrate the heavily fortified holy citadel of Zachara, Leonardo turned on his old master and helped the group eventually defeat him and destroy his work. With new purpose, Leonardo joined the party for their trek to Stormpeak and ventured deep within the Underdark as the winding network of subterranean caves began to wear on the fragile psyche of Leonardo. Beginning to radically tamper with his own body, even fusing it with vampire organs, he began to modify his own being until the former Leonardo was unrecognizable. Leonardo was seen swallowed by a great purple wrym in the caverns, but is rumored to have survived and still yet lurks in the caverns of the underdark as a twisted abomination.
