Snow is her world’s herald of winter, though few know it. She can be seen drifting about on winter’s cold winds. Wherever she flies, the season of winter is sure to follow. Out of season snowfall and coldsnap is a sign that she’s nearby. If picked up, one will notice that she’s cool to touch, and that she emits a cooler temperature into her her surroundings. If left for a long time in a glass bottle, frost will form inside of it.
She’s not very friendly towards humans, due to the fact that she’s a fairy and actually rather human-shy. However, she can warm up to individuals with time. She’s rather fond of rock candy, and can be bribed into cooperation with it. She’s not very fond of her name, and would rather just be called Snow.
Thanks to the shape of her wings, she’s an impressively fast flier, and has a remarkable amount of control in the sky. However, blizzards can cause trouble with her steering, so she’ll often seek refuge to let the storm calm before continuing on her way. She’s not good with heat and hot weather either, and can be seen taking shade on a sunny day.
Thanks to her size, she also can’t hold much alcohol. A thimbleful of drink is enough to get her drunk. The color of whatever she drinks will tint her wings, and if it’s alcoholic her motor skills will be uncoordinated.
Snowflower is one of four seasonal heralds, her sisters being the heralds for the other three seasons.
