Chade is a middle-aged Unknown male member of Unknown who raised and trained Raine Sen for a time before she was inducted into Galen's unit.
Raine was fond of Chade, as he treated her well - much better than Galen would - and protected her, even after her association with some of the Catalysts' shadier dealings saw her comrades facing legal repercussions; it was Chade who prevented Raine from prosecution or imprisonment, though the reasons why were never made clear.
