The Blackscale Lizardfolk are significantly larger than the lizardfolk of the Masvirik'uala. They are the original guardians of Haka'torvhak, and were the first to fall to Masvirik's corruption thousands of years ago. Old tales from the Lhazaar Principalities accuse the lizardfolk of Q'barra of being cannibals and maneaters, but this behaviour is actually only present among the blackscale lizardfolk.
There are only a few tribes of blackscale lizardfolk in Q'barra, each one led by a demon-infused monarch. They are the chosen servants of Masvirik, and receive tribute from the lesser Poison Dusk tribes and have access to the vaults of Haka'torvhak.
